Special professional training

At the Faculty of Professional Training of the Institute for Advanced Training (hereinafter referred to as the Faculty of Professional Training), special professional training of candidates for sergeant positions in the internal affairs bodies is carried out under a five-month program.

Admission to the Faculty of Professional Training is conducted on a competitive basis within quotas of up to 200 persons established by the Minister of Internal Affairs, and trainees are provided with material support in the prescribed manner.

The procedure for admission to the Faculty of Professional Training is approved by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The goals, objectives, functions, main areas of activity, rights and duties, as well as the organization procedure of the Faculty are determined by the Regulation on the Faculty.

At the Faculty of Professional Training, specialists are trained based on an approved list of educational specialties.

The process of special professional training of sergeant personnel also includes completion of initial training.

Employees who graduate from the Faculty of Professional Training are assigned the special rank of “Junior Sergeant” and are issued a diploma of the established form.

Graduates of the Faculty of Professional Training acquire the right to use physical force, special equipment, and firearms, as well as to independently carry out official duties, and are sent in the prescribed manner to internal affairs bodies for further service.

Trainees dismissed during the special professional training course, as well as those who did not receive the relevant diploma, who prior to admission were employees or servicemen of the internal affairs bodies, are returned to their place of service.

The procedure for dismissal of trainees admitted from among civilians during the special professional training course is carried out in accordance with the Regulation on the Procedure for Transfer, Reinstatement, and Dismissal of Cadets and Trainees of Educational Institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
